NEW IN 2026!
Player Age Groups have been updated to better align with school-year ages, allowing classmates to play together.

US Youth Soccer, AYSO, and US Club Soccer have collectively decided to move to an age-group player formation cycle that runs from August 1 to July 31, starting with the 2026/2027 season/registration year. This change was made based on additional critical feedback, data, and expert input to better align players with their school-grade peers. Our associations feel that this age-group player formation will be the most inclusive and will help increase participation.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Players’ skills will be evaluated during a tryout session.
Boys and girls will each attend two days of tryouts based on age level.
Please plan to attend both days!

Hartford Union High School - Gib Mahr Stadium

Current HSC Rec Players should register during the Early Registration period to take advantage of the discount. If your player makes the Select team, the paid registration fee will be applied to the Select registration.

2025/2026 TRYOUT SCHEDULE

June 8 & 9:

U12 - U15* Boys: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
U15* - U19 Boys: 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM

June 10 & 11:

U12 - U15* Girls: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
U15* - U19 Girls: 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM

*14 year-old high school students for the 2025/2026 school year should attend the later session.
14 year-old middle school students for 2025/2026 should attend the earlier session.

Tryout Fee will be credited (or refunded) to the player's 2025-2026 Season HSC Registration for Select or Rec Teams.
