Recreation Program

The HSC Recreation program provides an introduction to soccer for players from 3 years old to 8th grade, U6-U14)

The purpose is to:

Develop soccer players while building character through sportsmanship and teamwork
Learn the game in a non-competitive, fun environment through dedicated volunteer coaches
Provide families a cost-effective introduction to soccer.

HSC Recreation relies on our volunteer coaching staff, under the direction of Jack De Selm, Hartford Soccer Club Director of Coaching, to provide our players a safe and fun learning environment.

Those who are more competitive should consider the HSC Select program (U13-U19).

Philosophy

Beginning at age 3 (U6) to children entering high school (U14), we offer a fun and encouraging environment for your child to develop their skills and love of soccer. No tryouts required, so no disappointed child. Through our league affiliate, Kettle Moraine Soccer League (KMSL), we develop your child in a fun, fitness, and fair play environment.

We work hard to make our programs affordable to all players. Donations, Fundraising, and Sponsorships are essential to our organization. We ask that all our families participate in fundraising programs and volunteer time during the season. We do not ever look at you like just another player, parent, asset, or funding source. When you sign up for the Hartford Soccer Club, you become a member of the club, you become family, and our family matters to us.

Recreation Fees

Fees for the 2024/2025 Season:

U6 $100
U7-U14 $150

Program fee Includes:

Kettle Moraine Soccer League (KMSL) play for U7-U14
Practices: One (1) practice per week for U7-U8; Two (2) practices per week for U9-U14; U6 has a short practice before a scrimmage with other HSC U6 teams
Ref Fees for U7 & older teams
Practice facilities
Practice shirt
Team picture
Tournament fee allowance for each team U7-U14

*Uniforms (Jersey, shorts, socks) are purchased separately through our vendor partner
