Parking Issues at Independence - Please Read

Dear Sideliner Families,

Today there was a huge issue with parking at Independence Park. While on patrol, the Hartford Police came through the park. They noticed that there was a lot of cars parked along the roadways and on the grass. These two areas have clearly posted no parking signs in several locations. As a club we were given a "final warning" to inform all of our families of this.

Effective immediately, if you are parked in any roadways or any grass areas, you will receive a ticket from the Hartford Police Department. There are three designated gravel parking lots, a lot by the baseball fields, and a number of street parking spots. Please be more aware of the posted signs from now on, and don't park anywhere but in designated areas. This will save yourself a headache from having to pay a no parking ticket.
